Eggy Bread with Honey Drizzle
Congratulations to Molly Wood, the winner of our April 2021 Honey Recipe Competition with her recipe for Eggy Bread with Honey Drizzle!
Serves: 2 Slices
2 Slices of Bread
2 tsp Butter
From The Beehive Runny Honey to your taste
Whisk the eggs in a medium sized bowl then pour onto a large plate.
Take one piece of bread at a time and dip into the egg, repeat with both sides making sure the bread is covered.
Heat a teaspoon of butter in a medium sized frying pan until warm.
Place one piece of eggy bread in the frying pan and cook on each side for approximately 2 minutes, or until golden brown.
Remove from the pan and fry the second piece of bread in the same fashion.
When on your plate, drizzle generously with From The Beehive runny honey and enjoy!
