Honey Garlic Butter Salmon
Congratulations to Deborah Bird, the winner of our July 2021 Honey Recipe Competition with her recipe for Honey Garlic Butter Salmon!
Serves: 2 Servings
For the Salmon
Salmon fillets (to your preferred size)
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
1 tbsp oil
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp finely chopped garlic
1 tsp lemon zest
For the Sauce
3 tbsp From The Beehive Runny Honey
2 tbsp Light soy sauce
2 tbsp Lemon juice
Season salmon both sides with salt and black pepper.
Mix the honey, soy sauce and lemon juice in a small dish.
Heat a pan to medium-high heat, drizzle in a tablespoon of oil then place the salmon fillets in and fry for 2-3 minutes, turn over and fry for another minute.
Add the butter and chopped garlic on one side of the pan and sauté for another minute.
Next pour in the sauce and baste over the salmon occasionally, let the sauce reduce down and thicken.
Sprinkle the lemon zest and chopped spring onions over the salmon. Turn off the heat and transfer to serving dish.
Serve with rice, steamed vegetables, mashed potato or salad.
